Kao is embarking on an exciting new phase and we are recruiting a Customer Service Representative to join our team based in Camberwell.

Reporting through to the Customer Service Team Leader– the role will have responsibility for the processing of our customer orders, handling enquiries and providing our customers with a legendary customer experience.

Working in a high performance team, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a combination of technical skillset, attention to detail, strong customer focus and commercial outlook.

You will also be motivated, and driven to succeed in a challenging change management environment.

You will be able to work as part of a team and manage your own KPI's to ensure consistent results.

We are ideally seeking an experience customer service representative with at least 2-3 years of similar experience.


  • Local order management including generating, managing and resolving customer orders.
  • Export order management including managing export affiliates, ensure legal requirements are met and updating online portals to ensure timely processing.
  • Develop and build customer relationships to resolve queries.
  • Administration including set up new accounts, process invoices and maintain monthly batch checks.
  • Data management including basic material updates, customer master updates.


  • Experience in similar trade environment
  • Intermediate applications skills MS Office
  • Previous experience with SAP or similar CRM packages
  • EDI experience
  • High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
  • Experience in handling multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Superior communication skills (incl. phone manner)
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Disciplined, self-managed and motivated
