Kao is a global organisation and has a unique opportunity to join our Demand and Supply planning team. This role is based in our new Camberwell offices.

This opportunity exists for an experienced Demand & Supply Planner to join dynamic supply chain team. Working in a high performance team, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a combination of technical skillset, attention to detail, strong customer focus and commercial outlook. You will also be motivated, and driven to succeed in a challenging change management environment. You will be able to work as part of a team and manage your own KPI's to ensure consistent results.


  • Being a key link between supply chain and sales and marketing.
  • Focus on providing accurate forecasts to ensure consistent and appropriate stock levels.
  • Managing weekly under and overconsumed forecasts
  • Proactive analysis and reporting of short term demand change requests
  • Identification and communication of Low Code Inventory risk
  • Ensuring Inventory targets are met by analysing variability and stock levels versus targets, identifying root causes and agreeing action plans.
  • With a keen interest in continuous improvement you will be setting action plans, providing regular feedback on learnings and producing reports for review purposes on a daily, weekly and monthly basis


  • Previous Demand & Supply Planning experience
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines and work autonomously
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal & negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders internally & externally.
  • MSOffice intermediate to advance
  • Tertiary qualified in Business, Engineering, APICS or similar
  • Significant exposure to demand planning and S&OP within FMCG
