Responsible to work with distributor field personnel to increase sales in market leader salons. Develop the maximum sales potential of existing market leaders and to acquire new market leaders through the implementation of Salon Business Plans, resource management and consistent prospecting. Works closely with Education Manager in respective Business Unit to maximize sales and education potential in market leaders. Manage aspects of distributor business as determined by Manager


  • Identify and establish rapport with the top competitors’ salon customers within assigned territory with the objective to convert customers to Kao brands. Work with Sales Consultants to identify current resistant Market Leader Salons to develop and grow sales within. Create salon business plans and proposals. Successfully utilize assigned budgets to maintain and grow Market Leader Accounts
  • Work with identified existing A & B accounts to explore and develop areas for growth with Kao brands as outlined in the salon business plan. Meet with clients regularly to effectively promote the purchase, sell-through and support of Kao products, promotions and programs.
  • Manage distributor relationships within Quebec on behalf of Kao. Work with distributor sales management to grow their sales of Kao brands. Facilitate trainings for distributor sales team. Actively participate in distributor & salon events. Presents Kao products, programs and materials for Distributors and in-turn salons to make purchasing and investment decisions in Kao brands.
  • Prepare periodic reports showing sales efforts and results VS Kao Target list.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of competitors’ programs.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support in planning, development and execution of major industry shows (e.g. ABA and shows within territory)
  • Assist and support in Shows, Launches for selected Distributor



  • Bachelor’s Degree


  • 5+ years salon sales experience with proven results
  • Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office (Windows environment)


  • Fluent in both French and English languages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating good grammar
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and effectively communicating business plans to high profile customers
