  • You are leading the execution of safety clearance of all raw materials for all of our brands Goldwell, KMS and Molton Brown worldwide
  • As toxicologist you will strongly support the development of new global technologies from a very early stage of development
  • As part of a global acting team of toxicologists you will define the test strategy, acquire and implement the relevant test strategies to ensure that the products are safe for the market, based on latest scientific knowledge
  • As a representative for the Kao group you are member in task forces and working groups of industry associations (e.g. Eu. and IKW)
  • You will monitor new developments in the field ofin vitro testing, incl. in silico. You will investigate and assess the methods to establish their usability for day to day safety evaluation
  • You are collaborating in global, multicultural project teams to guarantee that the safety standards and safety assessments are based on latest scientific knowledge
  • You will cooperate with other functions to finalize projects (Regulatory, Microbiology, R&D Researcher, Production, Marketing and Sales)


  • PhD in natural science and/or Master degree in toxicology, or equivalent, deep knowledge in toxicology
  • At least 3 years of experience in the area of toxicology and risk assessment
  • Experience in the field of risk assessment
  • Team player, who likes being part of a global team and promote solutions
  • Due to the international working surroundings, fluent English and German skills required
  • Experiences in the alternative test methods, incl., in silico tools would be an advantage
  • You have to work very solution oriented and highly efficient in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
