Responsibilities
  • Developing a strategy and 3-5 years NPD master plan for all regions (EMEA, AM, ASIA) together with Associate Director Brand Management KMS, Salon, Global and develop accordingly global product concepts and execution of the entire Marketing Mix
  • Align NPD plans and category strategies with regions and key markets, global Sales and Education as well as Regional Marketing Function
  • Ensure NPD master plan delivers against global Net Sales and profit targets adjust plans in case of miss
  • Steer development of new innovative NPD concepts and product development
  • Support Associate Director Brand Management in developing of the global KMS brand strategy
  • Further develop the masterbrand equity incl. including core brand pillars together with Associate Director Brand Management KMS, Salon, Global
  • Develop and elevate Brand Equity Guidelines and ensure all KMS communication materials follow the Brand Equity Guidelines
  • Develop, organize and execute global brand image campaigns (non NPD) for KMS.
  • Determine and monitor project economics (target cost of goods, volume estimates, export price, turnover estimates vs. final buy-in vs. market performance).
  • Conduct business, market and target group analysis (Stylists & End Consumers) on an ongoing basis
  • Evaluate market and analyze competitors (assessment of data, interpretation of developments, recognition of opportunities)
  • Initiation of market research projects and derivation of strategic & tactical measures based on results
  • Management, coordination and supervision of projects in your areas of responsibility, in collaboration with internal departments (Sales, Education, R&D, packaging design, supply chain)
  • Management of Budget (planning, forecast and controlling) for the assigned sub category and sub brands
  • Management of agencies
  • Guide and develop 2 team members

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business / Marketing (Master)
  • Several years of Professional experience in global and/or local Brand/ Product Management. Experience in salon business beneficial.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, strategic thinking
  • An ‘innovation hunter’ mindset, an analytical and abstract thinker with strong project management and communication skills.
  • Strong communication / influencing skills.
  • Good experience in people leadership
  • Good entrepreneurial skills
  • Ambitious with good feel for cosmetics
  • Good technical understanding and high affinity for the product group / hair cosmetics sector
  • Ability to manage conflicting parties (Global, Regional, Local, Project Team including RD, GSC, Legal, etc.) and achieve strategic alignment
