Overview

Managing total Nordic Mass Markets (Norway, Sweden, Finland & Denmark) delivering vs the commercial KPI's , budgeted sales and profit targets.

Develop strategic plans that ensure the Nordic Mass business sales for Mass product lines are maximised.

The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to make a difference and will recognise the strength of the John Frieda and Bioré brands in helping them achieve these goals.

Responsibilities

  • To build relationships with retailers at headquarter level to maximize business growth and to be responsible for ½ year trade meetings (presentations of NPD launches, assortment, promotions, trade marketing activations, new pricing etc.)
  • Lead the development and delivery of a Joint Business Plan with the customers to ensure delivery of the mutual KPIs
  • To drive sales and profit of of the Mass business and develop accurate forecast and stretched plans
  • Deliver/exceed budgeted Net Sales, Trade Spend and Marginal Income of Kao's brands within account
  • To drive excellence in Business Analysis – setting clear objectives and strategies
  • Benchmarks of success by monitoring and reporting of brand activities, distribution targets and department budgets with focus on ROI, margins and profitability
  • To participate in the monthly forecast and supply meetings to secure sufficient stock, up to date pricing templates, product information
  • Manage a balanced set of commercial risks and opportunities with associated contingency plans to ensure we deliver vs. our commercial goals

Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze sales, competitor and market data in order to make recommendations for the business
  • Experience in meeting budgeted sales and profit growth targets
  • Experience in P&L accountability
  • 3-5 years' experience in an account management / retail facing role (FMCG)
  • Experience and understanding of business development
  • Managing and delivering top and bottom line sales in line with distribution and channel strategies
  • Experienced in building relationships with retailers for the benefit of the total business
  • Experienced in working with retailers at Head quarter and Store level the business
  • BSc/BA degree or equivalent
