To be responsible for all aspects of managing the area stores and concessions, all levels of P&L responsibility relating to relevant locations team succession planning, and development & execution and implementation of brand standards.

This position can be located anywhere in any major city in northern England.


  • To coach and motivate all Store Managers to be an expert at sales and service.
  • To meet and exceed sales/profit goals.
  • Ensure all Managers and their teams have been trained in product knowledge and selling.
  • Monitor scheduling and payroll planning to maximise sales generation and productibity.
  • Stay informed of current trends in the market place, both commercial and new product development.
  • Provides feedback to head office departments, to positively impact sales.
  • To participate in events and activities that reflect the company image, and to execute them with professionalism.
  • To offer a superior level of service to business partners in all aspects of the business.
  • Directs the activities of individuals and groups toward accomplishment of business goals.
  • Initiates and supports change; acts as a catalyst to stimulate others to change.
  • Identifies business problems and involves the appropriate people to act on the issue.
  • Demonstrates superior leadership, within peer group and company.
  • Recruits, hires, develops and retains a high quality and diverse management staff, who are reflective of the community and company ethos and within the allocated budgets.
  • Recognises performance issues in Management, and takes appropriate action in a timely manner. An expert at succession planning.
  • An expert at coaching, counseling and disciplinary action within the parameters of employment legislation and Co. pol.
  • Communicates focused, timely and appropriate information to Directors and fellow employees, expresses a clear point of view, demonstrates superior presentation skills, writes clearly and effectively, fosters open communication, superior listening skills, values other points of view.
  • Manages expenses to meet and exceed budgets to increase profitability, protects company assets, enforces and develops policy and procedure to enhance the company initiatives, ensure all company resources are used to effective advantage.
  • Establishes short term and long term plans to further business objectives, prioritises workload of themselves and others, staying focused on goals and objectives, simplifies processes to improve work effectiveness, delegates work appropriately, an expert at time management juggling multiple demands and competing priorities.


  • Previous beauty, department store or fashion retail experience is essential
  • Previous area management experience or large turnover multi-site experience
  • Travel within the UK
