The core purposes of this role is to support the UK mass business and the Category Managers by providing timely, accurate, insightful and actionable category and market reporting, through the extraction and analysis of multiple data sources, as well as optimising category range and space in the Grocery and High Street environment to drive category growth and value for Kao, the retailers and the shoppers
* 12 month Contract*
Delivering monthly category reports for use within Kao organisation, Domestic, Global and EMEA.
Extensive analysis of complex data to give insight into category and consumer trends for the UK Category, Commercial and Marketing teams (by the use of Retailer loyalty data/Nielsen/Kantar/Brandview).
Provide insight to support key business projects and ad-hoc requests from business leaders.
Analysing retailer planograms and in store ranges to deliver accurate share of shelf and store distribution reporting.
Supporting the Category Managers with retailer range reviews including pre and post analysis.
Ensure understanding of the category strategy and link to day to day business by reviewing NPD performance and competitor benchmarking.
Working with the internal Market Research team to ensure accurate coding of all products and segments in the Nielsen databases.
BSc/BA hons degree or equivalent. One year placement (sandwich course) in industry is preferred, particularly in FMCG.
Must possess strong analytical skills through experience or academic experience.
