One of two Assistant Manager roles, the Digital Trade & Operations Assitant Manager plays a key role in the support of maintaining, managing and optimising the Global Molton Brown websites at a local level with analysis and tailored plans as well as adhering to a programme of continuous improvement to functionality and the customer experience. This role will support an omnichannel strategy and positioning as an English luxury brand online, meeting KPIs and targets.
Local trading: Meet online sales targets while maintaining a luxury experience. Build strong relationships with local teams and support website growth with weekly status and trade review calls. Develop a deep understanding of the local markets and track relevant competitors. Maintain local calendars for the websites. Work with Manager to build trade plans and adjust them according to local opportunities and site performance.
Reporting: Weekly KPI reports for assigned country sites including site metrics, homepages, category and product performance. Analyse and suggest weekly actions. Monthly KPI reports - analyse and suggest actions for coming month. Gather longer term learnings and actions. Campaign wash up reports with learnings including local analysis on content performance.
Local site management and optimisation: Brief & test homepages using weekly reporting to make adjustments. Review category and product performance from weekly reports and merchandise sites appropriately using the Content Management System. Use tools in analytics package and partner plugins to optimise conversion and customer experience. Always keep in mind a programme of continuous testing and improvement.
Promotions: Manage, create and test promotions. Work with Merchandising colleagues to ensure timely creation of promotion stock. Guarantee the transfer and ring-fencing of this stock, monitoring throughout. Report on promotion performance. Work with Legal to write Terms & Conditions. Upload these to the sites. Maintain and disseminate the online promotions schedule to the business.
Content: Manage build of microsites for campaigns and year-round fast content (blog). Work with other Digital Trade & Operations Assistant Manager and Front Developer to manage builds. Work with Digital Design, Digital Copywriter and Digital Marketing colleagues to ensure content is digitally and commercially sound as well as delivered on time in a luxury and omnichannel led environment.
Testing and Development: Support Digital Trade & Operations Co-ordinator in the raising of site bugs and testing of releases.

Degree Educated or equivalent vocational experience preferable
Minimum 3 - 4 years Digital Trading/eCommerce experience in a results driven role for a consumer brand.
Luxury or beauty sector experience preferable, but not essential.
Experience working with multiple international teams and delivering on localised knowledge.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook).
