In parallel, embrace and address salons needs within the scope of role to partner with salon owner and with salon team members, engage and connect with salon staff and owner to build salon loyalty. Action plan around the Start, Stop, Continue philosophy.
Educators are a vital link to form strong relationship and connection with salons communicating on same level – eye to eye, shoulder to shoulder, with real hairdressing and expert color and retail experience and via coaching style educational interactions.
Demonstrate and train Kao salon brands and services to a) new potential and b) existing accounts in the allocated region.
Be positive Brand Ambassador at all times, presenting yourself and the brand exceptionally at all times.
Conduct education programs as defined in the annual Education Portfolio; complying with the Kao Salon strategies set in line with Connect Self Service – the annual review system.
Commit to achieving the Key Performance Indicators set at the annual review. Update Connect Self Service as required.
Be flexible and available to work outside of your given territories; be able to work trade events, evening and weekends if required with reasonable notice given.
Use and promote Kao salon brands, services and tools only at all times when performing internal or external education activities.
Making sure all demo product and tools are in pristine condition, fully stocked and ensure industry and Kao salon brands knowledge is fully up to date.
Complete and be current in Education planning and reporting all paperwork to be submitted weekly before close of business Friday.
Maintain and fulfill all requested and expected administration tasks and reports relating to Education function.
Work as a united team within the Education team as required to support each other achieve common goals.
To meet and lead education agenda with your ASM & BDM managers on a monthly basis to achieve set goals and targets for new business and distribution bonus.
Be available to present information at regional sales meetings to ensure all colleagues have the latest information.
NVQ Level 3
Proven industry experience in all aspects of hairdressing including retail
Coping with variety of salon cultures/personalities, competing priorities and occasional long working days and often away from home
To have as a minimum been involved in training others within the salon environment
Basic knowledge of computers in Email, Word and Excel
