The position is mainly responsible for the total legal support of the Molton Brown business and concurrently supports Kao UK and the EMEA Mass business

*Please note that this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract*


  • Manage (draft, compile and validate) a range of contracts ensuring they remain up to date in the face of changing regulations, law and best practice. This includes:
    o Reviewing all supplier and sales contracts
    o Keeping the Group Companies terms and conditions and pro-forma contracts up to date for each sales channel
    o Keeping the privacy Policy for the website up to date
    o Review and modify global distribution agreements
  • Responsible for providing high level legal and commercial input on business topics (provide high level legal & commercial support to MB Global President and EMEA Region Management).

    Advise global Molton Brown management and business on evolutions of laws and regulation in UK and EU and implementing legal obligations with regard to the Molton Brown businesses in the UK.

  • Investigation and follow up of on-going legal issues and prepare a monthly legal report and a quarterly litigations report for the EMEA LT and (Legal Global) the parent company.

    Monitoring of correspondence for Competition Law.

  • Consult and provide advice to global management of Molton Brown, the groups UK businesses and legal entities as well as partially to continental European businesses.
  • Development of technical and specialist line of argumentation versus third parties (retailers, counterfeiters) for defense against IP infringement including controversial conversation on that with external third parties.
  • Monitor and update Global Trademarks to reduce risk and follow up queries with the EMEA trademark attorney and external trademark lawyers.

    Artwork approval for Molton Brown and social media activity surveillance.

  • Conduct, Integrity, Anti-Trust and UK Bribery Act trainings for the groups UK entities.


• Successfully completed university degree in Law
• Qualification for judgeship

•Professional experience in the areas listed under Key Responsibilities - Ca. 2-4 years
•Profound knowledge in civil, contract and competition law - Ca. 2-4 years
