Responsible for maintaining the highest standards in Academy presentation and delivery of Goldwell/KMS education, upholding the Academy's reputation as a world-class centre of education. To act as a KPSS ambassador, delivering technically competent and highly influential training sessions that educate and delight our customers. A highly competent educator that will drive Academy service standards higher, improving both occupancy and profitability.
This is a 12 months fixed term contract.
Teaching Goldwell Color and Retail in accordance with Master Colorist program and KMS product knowledge in order to meet delegates’ and internal training needs.
Work in conjunction with Academy manager and Marketing team to develop the yearly Education book.
Manage all Academy events where education is required i.e. models, make-up artists and other talent bookings.
Expected to proactively provide feedback to make improvements to courses, including guest artist courses.
Facilitating and assisting Guest Artists on courses and maintaining a premium standard of service to the delegates during the Guest Artist training sessions.
Greeting Academy guests and giving tours of the facilities.
Managing the professional development of the Academy Educator.
Supporting Global Education when required.
Cover occasional late nights assisting ‘signing-in’ of visitors and hosting at evening training events as required.
Maintaining skill level to a high standard by reading all company literature, trade press and networking regularly with colleagues.
Ensures upcoming courses are set out in the Academy with appropriate equipment and stock.
To work with and support the London BDM Manager in delivery of Goldwell/KMS Kao Education in conjunction with existing Field Education support, this would include visiting prospects and existing clients with an aim to expand the KAO business in the right category of salons.
Liaise with Academy Manager on catering requirements for events.
Assessing equipment levels in the Technical Centre and liaise with Academy Manager where appropriate to action any maintenance.
Monitor (stock take) and replenish color stock.
Liaise with Academy Manager to ensure all equipment is functional and in good repair.
Supervising and controlling consumption of hair products.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the Academy to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
Work with the Academy Receptionist to ensure the correct models are booked on the correct courses.
Taking care of all models by creating a professional salon environment.
Ensure that model’s hair is assessed prior to any services to ensure the correct procedure is used, and that they are aware of the course requirements on that given day.
Ensure that all models are treated in a professional manner with courtesy and care by all team members.
Ensure that all models having a chemical procedure have had an allergy alert test and are completely protected with gowns, etc.
Ensure that the delegate’s application is as neat and accurate as possible.
Certify all models are duly satisfied with the service performed before leaving the Academy.
Help Receptionist to manage the database properly.
Managing the Academy Educator from a technical perspective to meet all the above mentioned standards (coaching, training, advising on all Academy functions) / sharing this responsibility with Academy Manager.
Managing the Academy seminars.
