This new role within Molton Brown will manage the total Market (Norway) to ensure Molton Brown is achieving budgeted sales and profit targets. You will develop strategic plans that ensure that the Molton Brown transition from a distributor model is smooth both for the business and our customers and that sales for Molton Brown are maximised. The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to make a difference and will recognise the strength of the Molton Brown brand in helping us achieve this. Strong Negotiation Skills and reasoning are key; as is the ability to understand strategic objectives of the business and develop / implement appropriate plans that deliver to targets set. The right perosn for this role will be a relationship builder with the ability to influence and possess proven success in managing a number of projects to tight deadlines.


  • To drive sales for the Molton Brown division in this new geography
  • Build and develop relationships with accounts, both at store level and in headquarter to maximize on business growth and opportunities
  • To work with the marketing team. Help to execute brand strategies that will drive continued aggressive growth of the brand
  • To formulate a strategic annual plan within set budgets with a focus on return on investment
  • To generate creative ideas that drive business growth (out of box/strategic thinking)
  • To report back to the team on a weekly and quarterly basis (business reporting)
  • Take active part in monthly NMLT meetings (Nordic Mass Leadership Team)
  • Awareness of in country strategic objectives and priorities
  • To drive excellent execution for launches at store level
  • Train in-store staff to understand key brand specifics to support sales
  • Set plans and direction for store visits


  • BSc/BA degree or equivalent
  • Experience and understanding of business development
  • Managing and delivering top and bottom line sales in line with distribution and channel strategies
  • Experienced in working with retailers at headquarters and store level
  • Experienced in building relationships with retailers for the benefit of the total business
  • Ability to analyse sales, competitor and market data in order to make recommendations for the business
  • Experience in meeting budgeted sales and profit growth targets

  • Experience in P&L accountability

  • 2-5 years experience in an account management / retail facing role
