Overview

This individual will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the Sr. Education Manager, Direct. Administer the tracking of field educators, budgets and coordination of programs and events associated with Education. Act as liaison for the outside education team as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and assistance for the Education Management teams as well as act as liaison for field staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate all Education and Development meetings, trainings and special events for Corporate Education Team, Goldwell Artists and KMS Artists including all field communication, travel, hotel, ordering, transportation, and budgets.
  • Balance, reclass, and review Field education budgets.
  • Schedule, book, track and communicate Direct Channel education, to include In salon Classes and Collective Classes.
  • Process National Artist program needs from DSM’s for Direct and Indies
  • Communicate any and all activities and changes to the Sr. EM, Direct
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in a professional office environment in a similar or sales support role is required.
  • Working knowledge of databases and MS Office software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, with the ability to create and properly format word documents, spreadsheets, charts, graphs, presentations and generate/print reports.
  • Previous experience working with SAP and/or sales data base preferred.
  • Requires strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to complete all assignments in an organized, efficient, accurate manner within established deadlines.
  • Requires clear verbal and written communication in English, excellent phone manner and above average writing, math, analytical, grammar, spelling and proof reading skills..
  • Must be able to work positively, effectively and professionally with employees, vendors, client and customers at all levels as well as independently and as a team.
  • Maintain a professional personal appearance practicing good hygiene.
  • May require additional hours to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed.
  • Occasional travel may be required via car, train, air and/or mass transit.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred
  • Completion of a secretarial program and/or courses is preferred.
  • Cosmetology or salon experience a plus
