In this full-time Fall internship, you will join the Infrastructure & Operations Management team to support the company on all infracturure fronts. You will excel in this role by having previous experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Perform desktop migrations and troubleshoot issues related to these updates
Diagnose hardware, software, and operator problems and take remedial actions or recommend procedural changes.
Research and resolve complex problems that other Help Desk associates have been unable to resolve
Update Active Directory for computer accounts, user accounts, distribution lists and security groups
Maintain accurate and timely inventory of all hardware within the defined inventory system
Provide technical recommendations and guidance to customers and junior desktop engineers
Develop and maintain training materials
Administer all desktop and network printers and print servers.
Experience with Windows Automation.
Experience with VB and Power Shell Scripting.
Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program that is Information Systems related.
Must be able to work 40 hours per week, for a minimum of a semester.
Prior internship experience is a plus, but not required
Strong, effective communication skills
Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively is critical
