Overview

Responsible for building, developing and maintaining relationships with "direct" Korean market customers for Goldwell and KMS California.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new salon business and grow existing business
  • Create and implement business growth plans for salon partners
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount rates. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals
  • Prepares sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed base expansion
  • Plans promotions with the Kao USA Marketing department and customers on both new and existing products
  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline in Salesforce
  • Manages and maintains budgetary controls

Qualifications

  • 2 years of college, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • Speaks fluent Korean
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with the ability to create and properly format documents, spreadsheets, charts, tables, presentations and generate/print reports
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities, make presentations and close the sale
  • Strong negotiation skills and techniques
  • Organized with the ability to proactively identify and resolve problems and manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment, ensuring project completion in an organized, efficient, accurate manner within established deadlines
  • Must be self-directed, motivated and able to manage daily activities with minimal instruction
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional business relationships
  • Professional written, electronic and oral communication
