The Regional Brand Manager is a field sales leadership position responsible for overseeing and driving new and existing business development, brand loyalty, brand recognition and personnel development in a region of the country comprised of several territories.
The Regional Brand Manager reports into a Regional Director (and/or VP of Sales). Responsible for creating and executing relevant sell-in and sell through strategies, business development strategies and training, business consultation, sales and retail promotions and strong relationship management.
RBM is directly responsible for the territory goals, growth and development of their assigned Brand Managers. Bonus and performance are both determined by attainment of regional sales goals and development of their team.
Responsibilities
Create a powerful, trusting relationship with both clients and internal teams
Oversee rotation management inclusive of both existing and new business development
Oversee maintenance of strong funnel of potential new business of entire team
Work closely with Brand Managers to determine and support sell-in and sell-through strategies of individual territories
Create and execute approved retail and sales promotions
Maintain sole field sales responsibilities for a designated territory
Sell in new products to existing salons
Achieve individual revenue goals by educating and consulting with the salon owners, managers, and stylists.
Support retail segment sales through merchandising and promotional activity
Hold weekly one on one and/or group meetings with all direct reports
Report up via weekly touch base to VP of Sales and/or Regional Director
Complete and submit all required reports – administrative, forecasting, business development, etc.
Create and execute relevant Regional sales trainings
Promote, plan, coordinate and execution of regional and national company-sponsored, business development and educational events.
Attend company provided meetings, education events and trainings
Overnight travel varies between 25% to 60%.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of relevant sales and leadership experience
Exceptional communication, presentation and training skills
Highly adaptive with strong coping skills
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to prospect and close new business
Comfortable working with marketing and education departments
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
