Brand Communication Development Manager


As a part of the Creative Marketing team, the Brand Communication Development Manager participates in the planning, development and distribution of brand creative assets. Creative assets include consumer-facing media such as TV advertising, print advertising, digital/video content and other marketing materials. In this role, a primary responsibility is collaboration and communication with Kao Global and Regional marketing teams to help facilitate effective creation and distribution of all assets.


Project Management

  • Asset creation coordination across key country and local markets
  • Collection of all assets required and recommendation on asset efficiencies
  • Coordination and planning of timing of asset creation and needs
  • Coordination of key creative presentations and agency meetings including timelines, scheduling, notes/recaps, summarizing feedback.

Budget Management

  • Annual asset budget planning process management
  • Asset development budget tracking an invoice management
  • Asset development budget coordination with finance (monthly)
  • Global and regional asset budget reporting and management

Content Development

  • Coordinate annual asset planning
  • Coordinating asset development in partnership with marketing and creative resources
  • Asset catalog approval and upload to Digital Asset Management system assuring correctusage parameters are noted
  • Claims/regulatory facilitation for communication approval
  • Stimuli development preparation for consumer research

Communication and Facilitation

  • Communication of asset delivery decisions to impacted stakeholders
  • Communication of available assets among all stakeholders (through sharing forums and other means)
  • Facilitation and problem-solving to ensure stakeholders needs are being met

Rights and Contracts

  • Contract negotiation and finalization (may include photography, talent, music, etc.)
  • Collaboration with legal and other departments in contract work
  • Ongoing rights management for assets
  • Statement of work and agency estimate facilitation and signature approval
  • Pre-production bid review


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Agency and/or client side experience required
  • CPG marketing experience a plus
  • Account planning experience a plus
