Brand Manager EMEA


Support Line Manager to lead growth and development of John Frieda in the EMEA region to meet business goals; ensure global programs meet the needs of the region. Provide recommendations to Line Manager on yearly priorities and NPD assortment prioritization for non 3C countries. Set process for EMEA synergies. Lead EMEA synergies across the region for Digital, BTL etc.


  • Support Line Manager in EMEA Stage Gate responsibilities. Lead process on country inputs, liaising with NPD team and Finance on all inputs. Discussing with global and countries. Develop strategic POV on size of prize, positioning, packaging, copy/graphics, etc.
  • Represent non 3C countries. Drive discussions with non 3C countries on business watch outs/"market intel". Recommend yearly priorities and NPD assortment prioritization for non 3C countries to Line Manager. Based on outcome from 3C meeting. Includes country visits (amount pending topics). Drive discussion with non 3C countries on BTL strategies. Provide recommendations for sampling activation, POS activation to Line Manager.
  • Lead and drive EMEA synergies across all touchpoints. Provide encouragement for teams to meet KPIs and oversee process. Own the creation of The Edition newsletter to promote assets. Work together with EMEA Graphic Designer on content creation/adaptation, across all touchpoints, for smaller countries. Identify needs and define priorities. Provide inputs to EMEA Graphic Designer. Oversee 360 look and feel, to ensure brand consistency.
  • Lead brand analysis and NPD performance updates, focusing on "what story to tell", including implications and recommendations. 2 x per year.
  • Support Line Manager with EMEA Area Innovation & regional lead NPDs; initiation of ideas, business case proposal etc.
  • Support Line Manager in any EMEA specific projects. Pulling any necessary data and conducting analysis. Making conclusions. Support Line Manager with market research testing. (project based)
  • Present regular updates at the EMEA Marketing Forum. Attend meetings such as: Line Manager 1 to 1, M3, Local country 1 to 1, Global Advertising 1 to 1, Creative Marketing 1 to 1 (when needed), EMEA Communications Mtg, UK Communications Mtg, Global Pillar Meetings, Stage Gate de-brief meetings, GRT etc.


  • B. Sc./ B.A. Degree Educated
  • 5+ years marketing experience, ideally in FMCG environment
  • International/regional marketing experience preferred
  • Collaborative and effective communicator
