Digital Marketing Specialist

Overview

The Marketing Technology Specialist will provide Technical Leadership & Capability to facilitate better integration between the business, EIS and Corporate. This role will lead & coordinate common technology platforms for the marketing function at a central level, facilitate sharing across the Community Manager and Shopper Marketing roles and provide Website construct & Search support.

This position will also manage 3rd party services globally, such as Price Spider, Bazaar Voice, NewsCred etc.

Responsibilities

Translate and integrate technology requirements and business needs.

  • Facilitate better integration between Business, EIS, and Corporate resources. Providing needs to EIS & Corporate and opportunities & education to the business
  • Facilitate conversations/ sharing across local to identify synergies (across Community/digital managers & Shopper Marketing)

Common tech platforms-Platforms and technologies of future

  • Development, Training, support, optimization, contracts
  • Strategies, Standards, etc.
  • Search, Social Listening, Ratings & Reviews, Legal coordination w/updated to Social Media Playbook & yearly training coordination

Website construct/functionality

  • Roll-up insights/analytics
  • Refinements/updates based on analytics (functional/structural level)
  • User functionality (back and front end)
  • Pixel tagging-retailer/social tagging

Search support - linking Search agency and brand teams, implementing requirements & educating brand teams.

  • Identify & communicate best practices in Search

Qualifications

  • Experience in the digital marketing space required.
  • Technology background required with marketing sensitivites for the end use of the technological tools.
  • Agency or Client side experience a plus.
  • BA/BS required, advanced degree suggested
  • Technical ability to make changes via the Adobe platform to the brand websites and knowledge of "Search"
  • Experience with the Adobe platform a plus
  • Technical ability to make changes via the Adobe & SAP Hybris platforms
  • Should have a strong technical knowledge of search and HTML code
  • Strong ecommerce experience, especially with Amazon is preferred
