Salon Curriculum Education Manager

Overview

Due to an internal promotion within the team, we are seeking to recruit a new Curriculum education manager for our Salon division. This role could be ideal for an individual who has experience as a stylist and/or a background in marketing who is passionate about the idea of creating materials for stylist education. To be successful in this role you will have a strong academic background and a passion for detail. We are willing to develop an individual who comes for the 'styling' world and can demonstrate abilities in theoretical & material based creation. In return, you will have the chance to collaborate with global stylists and create hugely impactful education materials and seminar content that will aid in the development of stylists across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Development of global Education Training strategies, objectives and concepts for all Goldwell and KMS Education specific programs
  • Lead and ensure the execution of education programs, support materials and training aids
  • according to time lines and budgets given.
  • Manage and execute all materials in connection with the Education programs from content supplied by brand Technical managers
  • Close cooperation with Technical Education
  • Close cooperation with Technical Managers, countries and stylists
  • Strengthen the image and expertise of the Global Education Team as a competent partner and provider of professional education programs, trainings and materials (printed and digital) to further establish the 'We Think Stylist' positioning and Genbaism
  • Being accountable for project time lines and project budgets
  • Leadership in the projects and project teams (ensuring highest standard of assets and outcome)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Hairdressing core skills (preferred hairdresser accreditation)
  • Good knowledge of concept/project management in order to develop beneficial and unique education strategies which support salon owners and stylists to increase their business and salon image
  • Good expertise in training/seminar development, execution and learning methods
  • Outstanding communication/presentation skills in order to create and represent the perfect training methods
  • Global thinking as well as understanding local requirements
  • Written and verbal proficiency in the English and German language
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Good team player/relationship builder in order to extract the expertise of cross-functional teams and professionals
  • Showing ownership of the respective projects in terms of pushing things forward, keeping deadlines and budgets
  • Willing to travel occasionally
